Cardiff Bonsai Club 2003

In 2003 we had yet another successful show at Dyffryn Gardens.  The gardens and arboretum provide a perfect venue, and are well worth a visit. There is also a special connection with bonsai, as it housed the earliest bonsai collection in Britain outside of London. Unfortunately this collection was lost, but in the grounds there are maples that look as if they were part of the original collection. The weather again was unsettled, but attendance at the show didn't seem to be affected. It is certainly the highlight of the club's bonsai year, and all involved had a great weekend,
