Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, May 2009,

 

This year some beautiful weather for both our members and visitors to enjoy the exhibition and the gardens

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year as well as our large trees, a display of Shohin trees formed part of the exhibition,

and reflected a growing interest in the UK in smaller size trees.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There was also a display giving THE HISTORY of the house and gardens,

and a watercolour painting of the theatre garden in 1923,

showing the bonsai collection which was the largest private collection
